Abstract:In order to improve the loss of detail and irrationality of brightness enhancement after image enhancement,a Retinex image enhancement algorithm based on fast bright pass bilateral filtering is proposed.In this paper,obtains the illumination component of the image by three kinds of fast bright pass bilateral filtering with different sizes and scales,and the three reflection components including the image details according to Retinex theory,the illumination component is enhanced by the multi-level brightness prior mapping method,and the details of the three reflection components are enhanced by the multi-scale detail enhancement method,and finally the final enhanced image is obtained.The experimental results show that the processing time of this algorithm is 62% higher than that of the other algorithms in this paper.Meanwhile,the brightness,contrast and detail of the image are significantly improved,and the three image objective evaluation indexes such as the structural similarity index measurement,peak signal-to-noise ratio and the average value of local standard deviation are improved.
