Abstract：The recommender system is an effective tool for addressing information overload problem and is designed to capture user interests to provide personalized recommendations.In recent years,the research and application of session-based recommender systems have received more and more attentions in the field of recommender systems′ research.To study how to use the user′s session information to improve the accuracy of the recommender system and users′ satisfaction becomes the main task of the session-based recommender system research.This paper summarizes the research progress of the session-based recommendation system in recent years,and analyzes its meaning,application scenarios,main algorithms,data sets and evaluation metrics.Finally,we look forward to the research difficulties and development trends of the session-based recommendation system.
