Abstract:Mobile Ad hoc networks have features such as high-speed mobility, dynamic topology changes and frequent link failures. For these features,we propose an Active Packet Loss queue management mechanism based on DropTail, and apply this new queue management mechanism to AOMDV multipath routing. The protocol uses a cross-layer design pattern and proposes a multi-path routing protocol QE_AOMDV based on AOMDV to improve link pressure. From the perspective of load balancing,in route discovery, the node obtains the real-time length of the queue buffer and determines whether it can participate in the transmission.Select the queue cache area length accumulation and the minimum, that is,the path with the least link pressure as the main path to transmit data.In route maintenance, starting the route repair mechanism by monitoring the length of the queue cache in real time.Simulation results show that compared with the original AOMDV protocol, the improved QE_AOMDV multi-path routing protocol has higher throughput, lower end-to-end delay, lower packet loss rate, and improved overall network performance in multi-node simulation and multi-rate simulation.
