Abstract:With the development of mobile cloud computing and the improvement of users′ performance requirements for mobile terminals,it is an inevitable trend for mobile cloud computing to shift the complex computing and storage requirements of mobile terminal to the cloud for processing. Therefore,in the green cloud computing,it is one of important problem how to reduce the energy consumption of the mobile terminal and the cloud and to improve energy efficiency and users′ experience during the data transmission process. This paper mainly studies the energy optimization problem in the data transmission process of mobile cloud computing, and proposes energy-saving strategy-OTSSP (Optimal Transmission Strategy based on Secretary Problem) to minimize average transmission energy consumption of unit data based on the optimal stopping theory. We construct a queue model of data transmission with multiple application scenarios.Based on the secretary problem of minimizing the average absolute ranking of candidates,it is put forward that an admission rule that is superior to the top k candidates to minimize the average energy consumption of unit data.Indeed, this rule has proved that it has the best k value. The experimental results show that the optimization strategy proposed in this paper has lower average energy per unit of data, more excellent energy efficiency, and better detection efficiency.
