Abstract:Light will attenuate and scatter by underwater transmission that reduces the definition and details of underwater images.To solve this problem,we proposed improved multi scale Retinex enhancement on color grey algorithm.By extracting RGB color gray scale of original image underwater and enhancing for grey of RGB by MSR.Due to the enhanced color intensity is in line with the characteristics of normal distribution,each of the RGB channels stretching interception that makes the image can meet the output characteristics of the output device.Finally,according to the original image of the color of the proportion of color to restore the proportion of color.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively eliminate the blur and color distortion,enhance the contrast and definition and make more detailed.
