Abstract：At present，personalized recommender system has been a hot topic and it′s technology has been widely applied in various walks of life.However，people can be classified into groups，at the same time，they often participate in activities together in the form of groups，so it is of practical application values of group recommender systems.Group recommendation system has drawn more and more attentions.This paper gives a brief overview of the group recommendation system，and divides the group recommendation techniques into five aspects，i.e.，group identification，information acquisition method，fusion strategy，recommendation method and evaluation index，which are introduced and analyzed in detail.In addition，research difficulties and challenges in the development of group recommendation system are also discussed.Finally，the future development directions of group recommender system are suggested.
